On April 17, 2006, the New Castle County Grand Jury returned a 28-count indictment against Daniel L. Ginsburg and former Delaware Finance Secretary Joseph T. Cashman, charging the two with racketeering, conspiracy, theft, securities fraud, and securities registration violations for activities related to a fraudulent advance fee loan scheme operating in Delaware.

Attorney General Carl C. Danberg is pleased to announce today, a $14,000,000 multi-state settlement with SmithKline Beecham Corporation d/b/a GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) concerning the drug Paxil.

The Medicaid Control Unit of the Delaware Attorney Generals Office has reached an agreement with King Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company that incorrectly reported prices to the government for several of its drugs and, as a result, paid millions of dollars less in rebates to government entities, including state Medicaid programs.
