Beginning on April 3, 2014, The Old State House, located at 25 The Green in Dover, Del., will be offering a new series of history lectures which will be held between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on selected Thursdays in April, 2014.

Two hundred sixty-three employees of Delaware state agencies and their immediate family members submitted artwork for the 2014 exhibition and contest. Twenty-one awards were announced in five categories – Professional, Intermediate, Amateur, Teen (13-18 years old), and Youth (12 years and under), culminating in one Best in Show.

Governor Jack Markell has issued a proclamation declaring March 10, 2014 as Harriet Tubman Day in Delaware in commemoration of the 101st anniversary of the death of the noted Underground Railroad conductor.
