DSCYF Announces Mini Grants for Summer and After School Programming

The Delaware Children’s Department is releasing up to $200,000 worth of mini grants so that organizations statewide can apply for funds to offer end of summer and after school programming aimed at violence and suicide prevention.




DSCYF Funds Extended Hours at Wilmington Community Centers

For the third summer, hundreds of children in the city of Wilmington will have a safe place to hang out at night. The Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (PBHS), is providing funding to city community centers this year, allowing them to extend their operating hours and provide prevention programming.




Location changed for Chautauqua Tent Show in Lewes, Del. on Thursday, June 13, 2013

Due to the likelihood of damaging winds and heavy rain on Thursday, June 13, 2013, the “Chautauqua Tent Show: ‘America Takes Flight’” has been moved from the Zwaanendael Museum to the Lewes Presbyterian Church.




Location changed for Chautauqua Tent Show in Lewes, Del. on Monday, June 10, 2013

Due to heavy rainfall, the venue for the Monday, June 10, 2013 “Chautauqua Tent Show: ‘America Takes Flight’” has been moved from the Lewes Historical Society to the Lewes Presbyterian Church.
