UPDATE: Department of Correction announces unauthorized departure of three offenders from Wilmington work release center
Two of the three work release offenders who left the Plummer Work Release Center without permission Sunday night have been taken into custody. Both were charged with Escape After Conviction and Conspiracy 2nd Degree and were taken to Howard R. Young Correctional Center. A third offender – Tommy Broomer – remains at large and the Department’s search for him is ongoing.
