Museums closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.




Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs to sponsor seven special events during January 2020

Highlights include a program on William Penn’s role in the founding of Dover, activities celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day and a concert by CoroAllegro.




Sussex Gardeners decorate Lewes, Del.’s Zwaanendael Museum for the holidays

Theme for the 2019 display is “Here We Go a Caroling.”




Delaware Valley Archaeology and History Symposium at the Arsenal in New Castle, Del. on Dec. 7, 2019

Event will include scholarly presentations on the history and archaeology of the lower Delaware Valley including the Avery’s Rest and Fort Casimir archaeological sites.
