DE Tourism Announces Watch Party Ticket Sales Launch March 5
As the global spotlight shines on our region for the world’s biggest sporting event, the Delaware Tourism Office (DTO) invites fans to experience every heart-pounding moment at four watch parties across the state this summer. Ticket sales for Delaware’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch parties begin on Thursday, March 5 at 9 a.m. DTO will be hosting one watch party per county this June, bringing thousands of fans together to celebrate the Global Game. Each event will transform the venue into a high-energy fan festival, complete with giant screens, live pre-match entertainment, local food vendors, interactive soccer activities, music and fun for fans of all ages. This is the only official FIFA World Cup™ watch party series in Delaware.
Governor Meyer and DSB Announce EDGE 2.0 Winners
Delaware Governor Matt Meyer, and the state’s Division of Small Business announced the winners of the EDGE 2.0 Grant Competition, and $1.15M dollars. EDGE, the Division’s flagship pitch and funding competition, stands for Encouraging Development, Growth and Expansion.
22 Businesses and Organizations Awarded First State Food System Grants
The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) is pleased to announce that 22 businesses and organizations have received grants through the Delaware Grocery Initiative, also called First State Food System Grants. This program aims to expand access to healthy foods in food deserts in Delaware and to areas at risk of becoming food deserts, by providing grants and other forms of financial assistance to eligible food resources.
UPDATE: DSB Distributes $2.40M in SSBCI Funding in 45 days
In the last 45 days, the Division is proud to announce that it has distributed $2.40M to small business owners. This is exciting news since the highly publicized relaunch of DSB’s Small State Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) on April 24, when DSB Director CJ Bell explained the urgent need to get $14M in the hands of small business owners before the end of the calendar year.
DE Office of Supplier Diversity Launches Online Application Portal
The Delaware Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) has launched a new online portal to streamline the application process for diverse business and small business certifications. This portal, which can be accessed at de.gov/osd, will make it easier for business owners to submit application materials and information.
