Registration Begins for DMV’s Low-Digit Tag Lottery

The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is excited to announce that its annual low-digit tag release begins on Monday, November 6, 2023. Tag-A-Palooza 2023 will feature five days of online giveaways and four in-person events.

Anyone interested in joining the online lottery to win a low-digit tag must register in advance. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, and will continue every day through Thursday, November 2, 2023. You may register only once per driver license or identification card.




Department of Agriculture Issues Alert Over Green Iguanas at Apple Scrapple Festival

The Delaware Department of Agriculture is issuing an alert regarding green iguanas that the public may have won as a prize at the Apple Scrapple Festival this year. Anyone who is not prepared to keep these reptiles, are asked to contact the Department so the iguanas can be placed in the care of one of the many reptile rescue and rehabilitation centers within the state.

With more than 350 state employees representing 20 state agencies and all three branches of government, the State of Delaware renewed its commitment to sustaining a diverse, inclusive workforce during the 2023 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Summit. With the theme “Creating a Culture of Inclusive Excellence,” this year’s summit brought together a diverse group of state employees, agency division leaders, industry professionals, civil rights experts, and thought leaders to share insights, best practices, and success stories aimed at embracing diversity and creating an inclusive culture.
