DNREC’s new state-of-the-art mobile science laboratory, “Science at Your Door,” was unveiled at North Laurel Elementary School in a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Governor Jack Markell, DNREC Secretary David Small and Secretary of Education Steven Godowsky.

DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation will hold a live auction for low digit surf fishing tags at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. This year’s auction will feature a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bid on surf fishing tag #1.

Officials from DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Wilmington Parks invite the public to join in the grand opening of the newly restored Sugar Bowl Pavilion. The iconic architectural feature is located in Brandywine Park. The park is one of six that make up Wilmington State Parks, managed by Delaware State Parks.
