Delaware offender fails to return to work release center

The Delaware Department of Correction announces that Rachel Tarnovshcian, an offender currently on work release, has failed to return from an authorized job seeking pass issued by the Sussex Community Corrections Center in Georgetown. Attempts to make contact with her have been unsuccessful and an escape warrant for her arrest has been issued.

David Boyce, age 46, an inmate at Sussex Correctional Institution, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Boyce was pronounced dead at Beebe Medical Center at 11:04 a.m. and his body has been turned over to the State Division of Forensic Science, as is standard procedure. The investigation is being handled by Delaware State Police as an apparent suicide.
