DSB Reaches Goal – $14M Dollars in 8 Months!

The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) is celebrating reaching and exceeding its “Race to $14M” goal in just 8 months. DSB staff invited partners, lenders and SSBCI recipients to celebrate the milestone, at an event in Wilmington. In total, DSB has obligated or distributed $14,433,971.99 since launching “The Race” on April 24.
Governor Meyer and DSB Announce EDGE 2.0 Winners

Delaware Governor Matt Meyer, and the state’s Division of Small Business announced the winners of the EDGE 2.0 Grant Competition, and $1.15M dollars. EDGE, the Division’s flagship pitch and funding competition, stands for Encouraging Development, Growth and Expansion.
Applications Available for FY 26 Sports Tourism Capital Investment Fund

Applications are now being accepted for the FY 26 Sports Tourism Capital Investment Fund (CIF). The Fund, administered by the Delaware Tourism Office (DTO), provides financial support to new or existing Delaware sports facilities that host events attracting out-of-state visitors and contributing to state and local economies.
EDGE 2.0 Finalists and Pitch Competition Dates Announced

The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) is excited to announce the finalists and dates, for the EDGE 2.0 Grant Pitch Competition. The pitch competition will be held on Oct. 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at The Tower Audion & Atrium at STAR Campus, University of Delaware, 100 Discovery Blvd., Newark, 19713. The public is invited to watch the competition in-person. Registration is required to watch.
DSB Closing In – Approaching $10 Million in SSBCI ‘Race to $14M’

The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) is closing in on its goal in the ‘Race to $14M’ initiative. DSB has allocated another $5.93M in federal funding since late August as part of its Small State Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). That brings the total of funds obligated or distributed to $9.92M since April 24 and leaves just over $4M that needs to be awarded so DSB can access the next round of these federal dollars.
