Having Secured Multiple Life Sentences for the Sexual Abuse of Children, Biden Announces End to Criminal Prosecution of Earl Bradley

Following the conviction and lifetime prison sentence for child rapist Earl Bradley, and after successfully defending that conviction on appeal to the Delaware Supreme Court, Attorney General Beau Biden announced today that he has decided to spare the victims who are represented by the remaining indictment against the former Lewes pediatrician by ending that case before it goes to trial.

The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and the National Guard Bureau announced a collaborative effort to place AmeriCorps members in Delaware and locations across the country as part of a new Joining Community Forces initiative.

Earlier this week, Governor Markell and I had the chance to visit Evraz Steel right here in Claymont. We announced one of the largest investments to improve this great facility: reduce the particulate emissions by 99%. What that means is all the dust that used to come from this plant that would affect the local community or affect the workers here is now actually being captured by this great facility right here.
