Governor’s Weekly Message Transcript: Celebrating the Holiday Season While Staying Safe on Delaware’s Roadways

Former Governor Jack Markell (2009-2017) | News | Date Posted: Friday, December 23, 2016

Each one is a tragedy that leaves behind a family who is hurting this holiday season. And they’re stark reminders of how important it is to remain alert and sober when driving and walking along our roads.

The relocation is prompted by the Association of Zoos and Aquarium’s Species Survival Plan – a robust and scientific endeavor to manage the genetic diversity of captive species. Zhanna’s genetic profile and age make her a good candidate for breeding and consequently, for transfer to a zoo with a successful tiger breeding program.
