Two bills that implement components to combat bullying were signed by Governor Jack Markell today at George V. Kirk Middle School in Newark. Lt. Governor Denn Announces Two “Excellence in Parental Involvement” Award Winners at Press Conference

The 2012 winners of the award are Bayard Middle School and Gallaher Elementary School, both of Christina School District. The two winners were picked by a committee of parents, teachers, administrators, and representatives from the business community.




On Thursday, April 19, Lt. Governor Denn Announces Winners of his 3rd Annual “Excellence in Parental Involvement Award”

The Excellence in Parental Involvement award was created by Lt. Governor Denn as a way to honor schools and parents that have successfully expanded parental involvement through innovative programs. Media will learn more about these programs and their implementation at Thursday’s press conference.
