The Children’s Department’s Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (PBHS) is making the Kognito Step In, Speak Up Anti Bullying Training available free to any educator in the State. The training will help them support LGBTQ youth.




Childcare provider convicted of endangering a toddler under her care

The Delaware Attorney General’s Office yesterday secured the conviction of the manager of a Wilmington daycare center after a toddler under her care wandered away unattended from the facility and onto a busy city street earlier this year.




WEATHER-RELATED UPDATE: “A Day in the Life of the John Dickinson Plantation” on Oct. 12 to be moved indoors due to heavy rain

Due to heavy rains and saturated ground conditions, the component programs of “A Day in the Life of the John Dickinson Plantation,” originally scheduled to take place outdoors, will instead be held in the property’s mansion house and outbuildings.
