Delaware Tutoring Efforts Recognized by National Learning Collaborative

Delaware is being recognized as an innovative national leader for its high-dosage tutoring partnership with Reading Assist. Accelerate, a national nonprofit focused on tutoring and learning acceleration, released a State Field Guide highlighting Delaware’s leadership in high-dosage tutoring and outlining steps, including model regulations, that other states can take to create similar programs.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Division of Climate, Coastal, and Energy and Division of Watershed Stewardship have launched I-ADAPT, the Individual Adaptation Decision And Planning Tool, to help Delawareans become more resilient to climate hazards, particularly flooding.




Kids Invited to Cast a Line at Youth Fishing Tournament

Families are invited to bring their kids out to try casting a line for a big fish in three of the First State’s freshwater public ponds when the Fish and Wildlife Delaware Natural Resources Police hosts its 38th annual Youth Fishing Tournament from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024.
