Ribbon Cut on Bethany Beach Streetscape Project

Cutting the ribbon and officially finishing the Bethany Beach Streetscape Project seemed like the perfect way to begin the summer season, when DelDOT Secretary Jennifer Cohan, Governor Jack Markell, Senator Tom Carper, Congressman John Carney, Bethany Beach Mayor Jack Gordon, State Senator Gerald Hocker, State Representative Ron Gray, Sussex County Councilmen George Cole and Robert Arlett, and Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Kristie Maravalli, proudly cut the red, white and blue ribbon.




Delaware moves up to 3rd best Bike Friendly State in U.S.

Continuing its steady climb to the top, Delaware has once again moved ahead in the rankings of the nation’s most bicycle-friendly states, according to rankings issued by the League of American Bicyclists.




Governor Markell Launches Plan to End Veteran Homelessness in Delaware

Following through on a charge announced during his State of the State Address in January, Governor Markell unveiled plans to end veterans’ homelessness in Delaware.
