The Delaware House of Representatives passes background check bill, legislation that will require criminal history checks in connection with virtually all gun sales.

We offer our compassion and condolences to the community of Newtown, Connecticut, as we all struggle to process what has happened today and how we move forward to a place of peace.”
Delaware citizens overwhelming supported today’s Gun Buy Back turning in thousands of firearms. Delaware State troopers, Wilmington police and New Castle County police collected a variety of firearms including assault weapons, handguns, shotguns, and rifles at two locations.
